These are the terms for using Hallstamp. No traps, no fine print written to be missed. By creating an account you agree to them.
What Hallstamp is
Hallstamp is a tool that matches your real skills to a job posting, tailors your resume from what is true, and names the gaps a job needs that you do not have yet. It helps you present your genuine experience well. It is not a guarantee of a job, an interview, or any particular outcome.
Honest by construction
Our commitment to you is the whole point of the product: we do not invent skills, metrics, employers, dates, or credentials, and we do not add anything to your resume that you cannot back. A requirement you cannot support is shown as an honest gap, never faked into a line. If we ever fall short of that, tell us, it is a bug to us, not a feature.
Your account
- Keep your credentials safe. You are responsible for activity under your account. Use a strong, unique password.
- Give accurate information. Enter your own real experience. Do not upload or claim material that is not yours to use.
- One person, one account, unless we agree otherwise in writing.
Acceptable use
Use Hallstamp for its purpose: your own job search, or a sanctioned school pilot. Do not try to break, overload, scrape, or reverse engineer the service, and do not use it to deceive an employer with fabricated claims. Misusing the honesty tool to be dishonest is a breach of these terms.
Your content stays yours
You keep ownership of the resumes, notes, and other content you put into Hallstamp. You grant us only the permission needed to store it and operate the service for you. We claim no ownership of your work.
Our software is ours
Hallstamp, its name, design, engine, and code are the proprietary property of CognaWorks Inc. You may use the service, but you may not copy, resell, host, or present it as your own without written permission.
The tool assists, you decide
Hallstamp helps you prepare your materials, but you are the one who submits them. Review what you send. You are responsible for the accuracy of what you present to an employer, and for your own applications and communications.
No warranty, and honest limits
This is an early product, offered as is. We work to keep it correct and available, but we do not warrant that it will be error-free, uninterrupted, or fit for a particular purpose. Deterministic matching and validation reduce mistakes; they do not promise perfection. To the extent the law allows, CognaWorks Inc. is not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from use of the service.
Changes and ending
We may update these terms; we will post changes here with a new effective date, and material changes will be surfaced in the app. You can stop using Hallstamp and close your account at any time. We may suspend an account that breaches these terms.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the applicable laws of Canada.
